This was a botched, incomplete investigation.
(1) No fingerprints taken.
(2) Alcohol bottles not collected.
(3) Marijuana not collected.
(4) Pipe not collected.
(5) Artificial fingernails not collected or tested ( eventually collected by Sarah ).
(6) No DNA testing or forensic testing of any kind. Specifically swabs taken from Angel’s hands not tested, artificial fingernails, $125 in Jason’s wallet not tested.
(7) No drug or alcohol testing of any of the suspects/witness.
(8) No sword collected.
(9) No phone records collected.
(10) Witnesses not followed up with or interviewed, for example Sarah, Brandi, Bartender.
(11) No record made of Becky’s interview.
(12) Recording of Angel’s interview with Zabrowski not given to defense until late 2016.
(13) Witnesses fed information during interview, including untrue statements about Jason.
